About Us

BuildRI is an equal labor-management partnership between local construction trade unions and the:

• Labor Relations Division of the RI Chapter of the Associated General Contractors
• RI/Southeast MA Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association, and
• New England Mechanical Contractors Association

Previously known as the RI 21st Century Labor Management Partnership; since its inception in November of 2000, our organization has participated in negotiations that have resulted in insuring more than $ 1.3 billion of construction work on 14 local high-profile projects built exclusively union, and we are in the process of insuring that 6 more projects have similar agreements.  Please browse our Web site to find out why we have been able to achieve these accomplishments.
