T.F. Green Bruce Sundlun Terminal & Airport Expansion

In 1994, a PLA was implemented to expand and modernize T.F. Green Airport's terminal. Construction included replacing the existing terminal with a new facility with two new floors. It also included constructing interim facilities, new aprons for the airfields, a new elevated roadway with canopies and walkways, a new parking garage, and removal of all contaminated material. All of this work was completed without interrupting incoming and outgoing flights. More importantly, the project was completed "on time and under budget."
