NBC Combined Sewer Overflow Project

In 2001, a PLA was implemented for Phase 1 (the largest contract of the overall project) of the NBC Combined Sewer Overflow Project. This project is the largest and most complex public works project in the history of the State of Rhode Island. The construction manager decided to implement a PLA because access to an ample supply of workers who have the skills to competently complete the job was critical to the project's success.
