535 MW RISE Power Plant

In 2000, a National Stabilization Agreement was utilized to construct this 535-Megawatt unit power plant. Under the agreement, all the workers at the job site were union. During construction, our workers completed over 1.4 million man-hours without a reportable accident as defined by OSHA. Also, according to the owner, Florida Power & Light Energy, this project was completed "on schedule and within budget."
