Pawtucket Water Treatment Facility

On December 1, 2004, Earth Tech, Inc. and the RI Building Trades entered into a PLA to construct the new water treatment plant in Pawtucket. This project is essential to the development and continued supply of high quality drinking water in Pawtucket, Cumberland, and Central Falls.

The scope of the project includes the complete installation of a new 25 MGD Water Treatment Facility (upgradeable to 30 MGD) and a 5 MG Water Storage Tank at 85 Branch Street, Pawtucket, RI, a Raw Water Intake Structure and Pumping Station at 120 Mill Street, Cumberland, RI, and various interconnecting piping and appurtenances. Also included were modifications to Existing Wells 2 through 9 and installation of a watershed monitoring system.
