Wyatt Detention Center Expansion

In January of 2005, BuildRI submitted a porposal to an independent committee appointed by the Central Falls Detention Facility Corporation to consider whether or not to implement a project labor agreement for construction of the facility's $35,000,000 expansion.

Shortly thereafter, the committee recommended and implemented the use of a project labor agreement for this project, and on May 31, 2005 the Rhode Island Building Trades entered into a PLA with O.A. Ahlborg & Sons, Inc. for this project.
