Westin Expansion

On September 18, 2006, the Rhode Island Building Trades entered into a project labor agreement with Suffolk Construction Co. for construction of the $100 million Westin condominium/hotel expansion project.

The scope of this project consists of work associated with constructing a 400,000 + square foot expansion of the Westin Providence located at One West Exchange Street, Providence, including a new thirty-two (32) story, mixed use high rise concrete tower with 200 hotel rooms occupying 8 floors and 100 condominium units occupying the 17 upper level floors. Additionally, there are 5 levels of above ground parking and ground level arcade for retail and resturants.
